Currently, Oak & Olive Therapy offers virtual counseling only. In-person services are something we hope to offer in the future. Check back for updates as Oak & Olive continues to grow.
Each session is tailored to the client’s needs and the focus of the session. Session length may vary, with sessions lasting up to 55 minutes.
Virtual therapy sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so you can access therapy without traveling to an office. Before your first session, you’ll receive instructions for joining your appointment. All you need is a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a private space where you can speak comfortably.
Oak & Olive Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another, establish a foundation for our work together, and determine how I can best support you.

Every person experiences their first therapy session differently. You may leave feeling relieved because you've finally had the opportunity to open up and receive support. You may also leave with thoughts, feelings, or emotions that continue to surface after the session.
Both experiences are completely normal. Neither necessarily indicates whether therapy is or isn't working. Beginning therapy can bring greater awareness to areas of your life that may need attention, and sometimes that awareness takes time to process.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. The first session is simply the beginning of the process.
